Roast Beef and Pasta Carbonara Recipe

Ingredients

• 1 pound (450 g) Certified Angus Beef ® deli roast beef, 1/4-inch (.65
• Olive oil, as needed
• 1 small shallot, finely diced
• 8 ounces (225 g) shitake mushrooms, stems removed, sliced
• 1 16 ounce (450 g) prepared Alfredo sauce
• 1 pound (450 g) of pre-cooked bacon, chopped
• 1 pound (450 g) fettuccini noodles, cooked according to package directions
• 1/3 cup (75 ml) finely chopped fresh Italian parsley, washed in cheesecloth
• Fresh ground black pepper, as needed
• 1 cup (225 g) shredded Parmesan cheese

Instructions

1. Using a large skillet, heat olive oil and sauté shallots and mushrooms until soft. Add Alfredo sauce, roast beef and crumbled bacon. Heat to 150º F (65º C) do not boil. Mix in cooked fettuccini, parsley and fresh pepper.
   
2. Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese and serve with garlic toast and salad.
